Air pollution was ever present, but mostly not too bad. Some days were worse than others. In these pictures, the mist is just mist, not smog. This is Spring Barrel weekend in the Yakima Valley and everyone is looking for a way to differentiate their winery, but I don't think that idea will catch on here. We may be in Eastern Washington, but not eastern enough. I'm glad China is taking steps to deal with air pollution. Did you find that to be an issue throughout your travels there?
